Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/85-TR

The MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger utilizes the latest and fastest technology to optimally convert energy from solar panels into a form suitable for charging battery banks. The charger can be connected to either 150V or 250V solar panels and automatically detects the battery system voltage (12V, 24V, or 48V), with a maximum charging current ranging from 70 to 100A depending on the model. All charging settings are fully customizable, allowing users to configure parameters for different battery chemistries, such as lead-acid, lithium, and other types.

The MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger can be managed and configured via Bluetooth using the VictronConnect App. This app provides a user-friendly interface to adjust settings, monitor operations, and view data such as battery voltage and current, solar panel output, and other historical information—all at a glance.

Equipped with CAN bus ports, the VE.Can SmartSolar charger allows seamless communication between multiple VE.Can SmartSolar units. These devices can be easily daisy-chained using a single RJ45 cable, enabling synchronized charging phases across all connected chargers. Additionally, data from all chargers can be sent through this cable to a GX device for centralized monitoring. If the GX device is connected to the internet, you can manage all your solar system chargers remotely through the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM).

Like other MPPT Solar chargers, the VE.Can SmartSolar also features a VE.Direct port, which can be used for monitoring a single device or even for controlling street lighting. The remote on/off connection can be integrated with an external third-party device, such as a lithium battery. For those who prefer direct control and real-time data display, an optional plug-in LCD display/control unit is available, providing immediate access to information and settings right from the charger’s display.
